This policy says what Satjana LLC ("Satjana", "we", "us") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this site and the sites we build and run for communities ("community sites").
Who is responsible
On this site, Satjana LLC decides how your information is used. On a community site, the community decides how it uses its members’ information, and we handle it for the community to run its site. What we collect
From this site:
- what you send us through the form: your name, email, your community or website, and your message;
- basic technical records, such as IP address, browser and pages visited, to keep the site safe.
On community sites
- your account: name, email and how you sign in (an email and password, or Google);
- what you add to your profile;
- what you do on the site: classes reserved, courses and practice, messages, form answers;
- what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us;
- cookies that keep you signed in and remember your choices, and analytics where the community turns them on and you agree.
How we use it
- to run the sites and their features, and to answer you;
- to keep the service and your account secure;
- to process payments, with Stripe;
- to send emails about the site and what you do on it;
- to meet our legal obligations.
The AI guide
Questions you ask a site’s AI guide are sent to our AI providers to produce an answer from the community’s own teaching.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- Google Cloud, which hosts the sites, their files and their sign-in;
- Stripe, which processes payments;
- our email and AI providers;
- the community whose site you use;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Cookies
On a community’s site, necessary cookies keep you signed in and the site secure. Other cookies, such as analytics, are used only where the site asks and you agree, in its cookie notice.
This company site asks no one to sign in. It remembers your choice of light or dark, and measures visits only if you agree in its cookie notice.
How long we keep it
We keep information while your account is active or the community needs it to run its site, and messages to us as long as needed to answer them and for our records. You can delete your account on a community site from your account settings; what is yours there is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information. On a community site, your account settings let you download what is yours and delete your account. For anything else, write to us; we may ask you to confirm it is you. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your local law, and we honour them.
Children
The service is not for children under 13. A community may ask its members to be older.
Security and where it is kept
Information is sent over encrypted connections, kept with access limited to those who need it, and backed up. It is stored in the United States.
Changes
We may update this policy. The new version is posted here with its date.
